Amazon defines meltable products as items that can melt, warp, or otherwise be damaged in higher ambient temperatures during storage or transit. Common examples include chocolate, gummy candy, lip balm, crayons, certain candles, and some cosmetics. Because Amazon fulfillment centers and delivery trucks are not climate-controlled year-round, the company restricts when these items can be sent into FBA.

During the April 20 – September 28 2026restriction period, Amazon typically does not accept meltable inventory stored at or arriving at fulfillment centers. Outside that window, FBA shipments containing meltable ASINs may be refused, returned, or destroyed at the seller's expense.
